Amid a frustrating season that has left the Miami Heat trending toward a 10th-place finish and a difficult path through the play-in tournament, one encouraging development has been Pelle Larsson’s growth.
The second-year forward has emerged as one of the team’s most reliable and consistent contributors, according to Anthony Chiang of The Miami Herald, providing stability in a year marked by inconsistency.
“Being an enhancer in every lineup, that’s just a credit to the way he plays,” head coach Erik Spoelstra said.
“He does all the effort things, he does all the intangibles, he does all the little things. That, of course, will work with any lineup. Every lineup needs energy, effort, and he provides that.”
Larsson has played 2 seasons for the Heat. He has averaged 8.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 123 regular-season games.
