Fever rookie Raven Johnson in danger of missing Tempo game after injury during practice

The Indiana Fever could be without one of their young players, as rookie guard Raven Johnson is listed as questionable on the team’s injury report ahead of their WNBA match against the Toronto Tempo on Tuesday evening.

According to Chloe Peterson of IndyStar, Johnson tweaked her left ankle during practice, but she was able to walk off the court and to the side under her own power.

The Fever used their 10th overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft to select Johnson from South Carolina. During her college years, the 23-year-old missed her true freshman season due to a serious left knee injury and had other minor injuries throughout her run.

Johnson has played 13 games so far for the Fever, averaging only 4.3 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.3 assists on 43.8 percent shooting from the field, as head coach Stephanie White insists on easing her transition to the pros.

Caitlin Clark is also in the Indiana Fever’s injury report vs. Toronto Tempo

Caitlin Clark will likely play against the Toronto Tempo on Tuesday, as the Indiana Fever star is listed as probable in the injury report. She had been playing through a back injury for a while now, and head coach Stephanie White said Clark would likely have the probable designation in the foreseeable future after the WNBA warned the team for improper reporting practices last May.

The Fever are fresh from an 85-75 win over the Connecticut Sun last Saturday, stretching their winning streak to three games and improving to an 8-5 record. Clark, who will have her own signature shoe with Nike, led the team in scoring with a game-high 25 points, three rebounds, five assists, and five three-pointers on 10-for-17 shooting from the field in 36 minutes.

Before this, the Fever notched an 114-106 overtime win over the Chicago Sky last Thursday, as Caitlin Clark and Aaliyah Boston became the first teammates in WNBA history to both register at least 30 points.
