According to a report from college basketball insider Jon Rothstein, Holloman has received interest from Utah State, Cincinnati, St. John’s and Providence. Michigan State is not expected to be in the mix for Holloman.
Holloman played his first three years of his collegiate career with the Spartans before transferring to NC State for this past season. He appeared in 106 games during his three years with the Spartans. He averaged 9.1 points and 3.7 assists per game during his final season in 2024-25.
In his lone season with NC State, Holloman appeared in 32 games (27 starts). He ended the season averaging 9.2 points and 2.1 assists per game with the Wolfpack.
There was a brief time during the summer where it appeared maybe Michigan State and Holloman would reconnect. He was back in the area and participating in Moneyball Pro-Am but Tom Izzo was happy with the roster he had previously built before this injunction was granted so it appears Holloman will look elsewhere. It’ll be interesting to see where Holloman lands to finish his college career.
