The 6-foot-6, 301-pound Jackson is from Lithonia High.
He becomes the highest rated in-state prospect in the Bulldogs 2027 recruiting class as the No. 8 player from Georgia, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Jackson re-posted news of his commitment from Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett on his X account.
The Bulldogs also have a commitment from the No. 9 in-state prospect Kelsey Adams, an offensive tackle from Langston Hughes.
Jackson is the nation’s No. 112 prospect and the No. 12 overall prospect.
Jackson becomes the third highest rated recruit in the 2027 class and the 14th overall commitment. The top two commitments are a pair of five-stars: running back Kemon Spell from McKeensport, Pa., and tight end Jaxon Dollar from Denver, N.C.
