Hyppolite, a 6-foot-1, 180-pound safety, is listed as the No. 10 safety and No. 142 player in the class, according to 247Sports’ composite rankings.
Hyppolite played on both sides of the ball for North Miami Beach High last season. He had 63 tackles and 5 interceptions on defense, and he had 32 catches for 405 yards and four touchdowns on offense.
The local standout offers physical tackling and range in the defensive backfield. The Hurricanes’ coaching staff also values the safety’s football IQ, a UM source said.
Hyppolite is the second South Florida safety in the Hurricanes’ 2027 class, joining McArthur four-star prospect Jaylyn Jones.
Miami currently has the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation, according to 247Sports’ rankings.
