Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston will rightfully earn most of the plaudits. Such is life when you’re All-WNBA caliber.
Still, the difference between merely being a playoff team and contending for a WNBA crown is in the margins. Which side can coax the most out of their supporting cast? Which role players are best equipped to contribute when the lights are at their brightest?
Indiana is hoping that its efforts to surround Clark, Mitchell and Boston with talent will pay off when it matters the most. If its estimations are indeed accurate, the Fever could find themselves hoisting hardware come the end of the 2026 season.

Fresh off finishing one game short of a WNBA Finals, the Fever have assembled a roster that looks more than capable of hoisting women’s basketball’s grandest prize.
Clark, Mitchell and Boston are the most noteworthy names in Stephanie White’s setup, offering the sort of star power befitting a championship-caliber roster. They’re joined by a motley crew of role players, many of whom will be expected to play leading roles if Indiana hopes to scale the WNBA mountaintop for the second time in its existence.

Lexie Hull and Sophie Cunningham lead a colorful cast of characters, offering floor spacing and defensive versatility from the wing spots.
Raven Johnson and Ty Harris are slated to serve as Clark and Mitchell’s understudies. The former was renowned for her dogged defense at South Carolina and should serve as the Fever’s primary point-of-attack defender. Her 6-foot-2 wingspan, quick hands and lateral quickness should make her a force on the defensive end of the floor.
Harris, meanwhile, is a steady shooter with real positional length. She should be able to impose her will against smaller second-unit guards.
Myisha Hines-Allen hasn’t quite been able to reach the heights she climbed when she was named to the All-WNBA second team in 2020. Still, she played an important role in Minnesota’s 2024 Finals run and should offer some solid minutes alongside Boston. So too should Monique Billings, a six-year veteran who enjoyed a solid campaign in Golden State last season.

White returns to the sidelines in 2026, one year after leading Indiana to the cusp of title contention. Selected as the 2023 WNBA Coach of the Year with the Sun, White has made the playoffs in all five of her seasons as a head coach.
Under her tutelage, the Fever produced the third-most points of any team in the WNBA in 2025. Their success was especially notable when considering that Clark missed nearly three-fourths of the campaign.
White is an acclaimed tactical mind. She’s also a popular figure in Indiana’s locker room. Mitchell said no coach has poured as much time into her like White has.
