A pair of key figures in Caitlin Clark‘s development took in Wednesday night’s Indiana Fever action against the Golden State Valkyries.
Current Iowa head women’s basketball coach Jan Jensen and longtime former head coach Lisa Bluder were both on hand to watch Clark and the Fever battle the Valks.

Clark finished with 13 points on a 4 of 14 shooting effort, including 1 of 8 from beyond the arc. The three-time WNBA All-Star also added six assists, one steal and one block in the Fever’s 88-75 loss against the Valkyries from inside Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
With the win, Golden State has now won eight straight. Despite the loss, it surely put a smile on Clark’s face to have both Jensen and Bluder in the house on Wednesday night.
Clark and the Fever are back in action on Friday night as they host the Seattle Storm (6-20) from Indy for a 6:30 p.m. CT tipoff on ION.
Meanwhile, Jensen and the Hawkeyes have been busy with summer practices as they ready for a highly-anticipated 2026-27 women’s basketball season in Iowa City.
