Toronto (11-25) defeated Portland (15-21), 82-79, on Friday at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. 12,414 were in attendance for the WNBA contest.
Toronto ended its 12-game losing streak. The Tempo‘s last win was against New York on July 12.

Former Lady Vol Isabelle Harrison started for Toronto and played 28 minutes. She led all scorers with 25 points and converted 8-of-18 field goal attempts and 9-of-10 free throw attempts.
Harrison also recorded 10 rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block.
Bridget Carleton led the Fire in scoring with 18 points. Portland led for 61 percent of the game and its largest lead was 13 points.
Toronto’s largest lead was 12 points.

Harrison played at Tennessee from 2011-15 under head coaches Pat Summitt and Holly Warlick. She was selected in the first round of the 2015 WNBA draft by Phoenix (No. 12 overall).

In 2014, she was SEC Tournament MVP and earned First-Team All-SEC honors. Harrison was named WNBA Comeback Player of the Year by the Associated Press in 2019.
