Maria Emma Gaviria re-elected World Archery Americas President

Delegates allocated the 2028 Pan American Championships, which will serve as the continental qualifier for the LA28 Olympic Games, to Tijuana, Mexico.

The three stages of the 2027 Americas Grand Prix were awarded to San Salvador, El Salvador; Guatemala City, Guatemala; and Daule, Ecuador. Delegates also allocated the 2027 Pan American Indoor Championships to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and the 2028 Pan American Youth and Masters Championships to Daule.

Six motions were approved during the assembly, including the creation of the Continental Judge Candidate category and a proposal to declare the Pan American Indoor, Field and 3D Championships as open events, meaning registrations can be submitted through Wareos.

World Archery Americas also recognised a number of member associations and individuals for their contributions to the sport. World Archery Mexico was named 2025 Member Association of the Year.

Randall Jones (Canada) was appointed honorary judge, while Carlos Hermes (Guatemala) and Phil Graves (USA) were named honorary chairmen of the medical and sports sciences committee and development committee, respectively. José Miguel Robiou (Dominican Republic) was appointed honorary council member.

Competition at the 2026 Pan American Championships started on 24 June and concludes on 28 June in Tlaxcala, following the World Archery Americas general assembly.
