SCRANTON/WILKES-BARRE 4, SYRACUSE 0 (BOX)
Syracuse was no-hit by the Rail Riders, but the club did manage to collect four walks, including two by the rehabbing Jorge Polanco. The also rehabbing Francisco Alvarez caught seven innings and made three plate appearances. Jack Wenninger went five and a third innings, giving up just one earned run while walking and striking out three. A Yonny Hernandez error would account for two additional earned runs while Wenninger was on the mound. The trio of relievers combined for three-and two-thirds innings of one-run ball with four hits, three walks, and seven strikeouts.
