Michael Page would jump at the chance to fight Conor McGregor after UFC 329.
McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) returns to rematch Max Holloway (27-9 MMA, 23-9 UFC) in Saturday’s welterweight main event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (Paramount+).

Page (25-3 MMA, 4-1 UFC) has bounced around middleweight and welterweight since signing with the UFC, with his most recent outing coming at 170 pounds in a decision win over Sam Patterson at UFC Fight Night 270. If McGregor remains at welterweight after fighting Holloway, MVP fancies that matchup.
“All the dangers I said I’m going to put myself in at middleweight are exactly what he puts himself in fighting me at 170, as well as me being way more awkward than anybody he’s ever fought in his life,” Page said of McGregor in an interview with Thunderpick. “He will never come up against somebody like me ever again. If he was to stay at 170, and that was an opportunity, 100 percent my hand would be up. I’m happy to cut the weight down and kick him in the face.”
Page, however, sees Holloway spoiling McGregor’s comeback. He thinks five years away after breaking his leg in July 2021 ought to impact McGregor.
“You have to favor Max,” Page said. “McGregor is always going to have that McGregor effect, but you’re always going to favor the more consistent fighter. It’s going to be more of a standup thing. And again, is McGregor’s timing a little bit off, especially to be in the pocket with somebody like Max? McGregor wasn’t necessarily the fittest of fighters even when he was in his prime.

“One of the question marks over his name was his fitness. You would get to Round 2 or Round 3 and start to see him dip a little bit. Now, he’s gone up a weight, and he’s been out. I think one of the first things you lose is fitness, and the other thing you lose is timing. Both are the two things he is probably going to need.”
