The Coca-Cola 600 NASCAR Cup Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway is under a weather delay for rain after 366 laps on May 24.

Daniel Suarez is the race leader. The scheduled race distance is 400 laps. The race would be made official since it is past halfway.

After a weekend filled with weather delays, canceled qualifying sessions and shortened races, the first half of the Coca-Cola 600 was complete without any weather concern on the radar.

But a storm formed to the south and west of the track, which is located northeast of uptown Charlotte.
