The NBA scheduled tiebreaker drawings for the 2026 NBA Draft to take place on Monday, April 20.
For teams tied within the lottery range, these results will determine their positioning before the Draft Lottery, while their actual lottery odds will still be evenly shared.
For teams outside the lottery, the tiebreakers will directly establish their draft order. The second round will then follow the reverse order of the first round selections.
Among the ties to be resolved are the Sacramento Kings and Utah Jazz for spots 4/5, as well as the Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans for 7/8.
A three-way tie involves the Orlando Magic, Philadelphia 76ers, and Phoenix Suns for positions 16 through 18.
Additional ties include the Atlanta Hawks and Toronto Raptors (19/20), the Cleveland Cavaliers and Houston Rockets (22/23), and the Los Angeles Lakers and New York Knicks (24/25).
Several of these picks are also tied to prior trades. For example, the Pelicans’ selection will go to either the Hawks or Milwaukee Bucks, with Atlanta receiving the more favorable outcome.
The Magic’s pick is owed to the Memphis Grizzlies, while the 76ers’ selection will be sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Suns’ pick is headed to the Charlotte Hornets, and Atlanta’s own selection will be conveyed to the San Antonio Spurs.
Meanwhile, Cleveland’s pick will go to Atlanta, and Houston’s will be transferred to Philadelphia.
