It very much has looked like Notre Dame football was going to start a hot streak in recruiting, and on Tuesday afternoon one of its top prospects decided on the Irish.
Pennsylvania 2027 edge rusher Abraham Sesay made his verbal to Notre Dame according to Hayes Fawcett, adding an elite talent to the class. The 6-foot, 5-inch and 215-pound prospect is ranked as the No. 47 overall prospect in the country in the 247Sports Composite Rankings, but in their rankings he’s No. 22 overall, making him a 5-star.

The Irish beat out LSU, Alabama and multiple other top teams for Sesay’s commitment, who is just coming off his official visit to see South Bend. There also was a visit set to see Florida State this coming weekend, but you have to believe that it will not happen.
This is another huge recruiting win for Notre Dame, who now has 18 total commitments in the 2027, and is currently ranked No. 4 in the 247Sports Team Rankings.
