“The event has been postponed until further notice,” a PFL statement issued online read. “PFL MENA is currently evaluating potential future dates and will provide updates as soon as additional information becomes available.
“The decision is based on internal operational and event readiness considerations, as we continue to ensure the highest standards of delivery. We remain committed to hosting PFL MENA in Jeddah and look forward to welcoming fans for what promises to be another exciting night of world-class mixed martial arts action.”
The cancellation marks the second in a row for PFL MENA in Saudi Arabia. PFL MENA 8 was scheduled for May 8 but also canceled.
The PFL’s next even is in its main series. PFL San Diego takes place June 27 at Pechanga Arena San Diego and is headlined by A.J. McKee vs. Salat Isbulaev.
