Real American Freestyle (RAF) is back with another 12-match showcase of freestyle wrestling stars and crossover MMA names, headlined by UFC veterans Tsarukyan and Covington colliding for RAF’s inaugural crossover championship — a belt designed for the promotion’s more MMA-based talent.
Tsarukyan (7-0) and Covington (3-0) are unbeaten over their 10 combined matches on the RAF mats in 2026, many of which took place against fellow MMA veterans. Tsarukyan, notably, has competed on every RAF card in 2026, including last week’s international debut in Georgia, which saw him blank Kuat Khamitov for an 11-0 tech fall win.

Tonight’s card also features the unlikely return of former MMA champion and Olympic wrestling Ben Askren, who nearly lost his life before undergoing a harrowing double lung transplant in 2025; Askren faces former teammate and UFC champion Belal Muhammad in a cruiserweight matchup. Lucia Lepez and Felicity Taylor additionally compete for the RAF women’s strawweight championship on the undercard.
