Ramazan Temirov is ready to make his run for the UFC flyweight title.

Temirov (20-2 MMA, 3-0 UFC) put the division on notice when he scored a first-round TKO of former title challenger Steve Erceg (14-5 MMA, 5-4 UFC) in Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 282 co-main event at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi.

Temirov’s violent finish earned him the Performance of the Night bonus. The 29-year-old sees a young, rising contender as his ticket to the upper echelon of the division.

“I would be happy to fight with Lone’er Kavanagh,” Temirov told UFC News through an interpreter.

After scoring his his 13th first-round knockout, Temirov is confident no one can handle his power.

“I respect Erceg. I appreciate him for this fight,” Temirov said. “We have a goal to take the belt, and it doesn’t matter who will be next or in front of me. I haven’t seen other fighters fighting like me – striking, punches, just making knockouts. I think the champion, Joshua Van, (has) got some striking, but my punches will just kill them all.”
