The Toronto Raptors and Cleveland Cavaliers enter Wednesday night’s Game 5 with the Eastern Conference first-round series tied 2-2, and the latest injury report gives Toronto the bigger concern. Immanuel Quickley is listed out with a strain, while Cleveland has no players on the report for the 7:30 p.m. ET matchup at Rocket Arena.

Quickley’s absence matters because Toronto has leaned on a balanced offense through four games, with Scottie Barnes and RJ Barrett driving much of the production. Barnes is averaging 25.8 points, 7.3 assists and 4.8 rebounds in the playoffs, while Barrett has added 24.3 points and 6.0 rebounds.

The Raptors have still found ways to stay in the series without a perfect lineup. They opened with a road win in Game 1, dropped Game 2 in Cleveland, then responded with home wins in Games 3 and 4 to take back momentum.

Toronto’s recent form also shows why the guard rotation matters. Jamal Shead has handled more playmaking responsibilities with Quickley sidelined, while Brandon Ingram and Ja’Kobe Walter have been asked to provide extra perimeter scoring and spacing.

Cleveland, by contrast, comes in healthy and with its core intact. James Harden is averaging 21.8 points and 6.5 assists, Donovan Mitchell is at 24.3 points per game, and Evan Mobley has supplied 16.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists.

The Cavaliers also have the home-court edge in this game, and that could be a major factor in a series where three of the last four games have been decided by double digits.
