Mizzou Basketball has an intriguing non-conference schedule lined up for the upcoming season. As per usual, the Tigers have the Border War and Braggin’ Rights set up in the non-con portion, but Dennis Gates has aligned a tougher schedule this year loaded with quality opponents at neutral site venues. That suggests the coaching staff has confidence in this roster to live up to high expectations, as Mizzou comes in at No. 21 in the early ESPN Top 25 rankings.
Missouri is playing their neutral site games in strong alumni bases. The Tigers will play SLU on Friday, November 6th in St. Louis as the two teams meet for the first time since 2001.

On Sunday, November 15th — Mizzou will travel to Chicago to play Marquette in the Legends Classic. On Saturday, December 12th — Missouri is set to play Nebraska in Kansas City to renew an old Big 12 rivalry.
Both SLU (Round of 32) and Nebraska (Sweet 16) were NCAA Tournament teams from a season ago, while Shaka Smart’s Marquette squad is seeking a bounce-back year.
