
The 14th annual International Fight Week has finally arrived, and it all concludes with the highly anticipated UFC 329 event on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas (Paramount+).
The biggest name in MMA history headlines, with former two-division champion Conor McGregor (22-6 MMA, 10-4 UFC) set to return from a five-year layoff in a rematch with former UFC and BMF titleholder Max Holloway (27-9 MMA, 23-9 UFC), whom he beat by unanimous decision in their first meeting at UFC Fight Night 26 in August 2013.

Both men have come a long way since then and stacked UFC history around their names in the record books. They aren’t the only ones with notable resumes, though.

McGregor returns to competition for the first time since July 10, 2021. The 1,827-day layoff is the longest of his more than 18-year career.
McGregor became the first simultaneous two-division champion in UFC history when he defeated Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205.
McGregor is one of four fighters in UFC history to be a simultaneous two-division champion. Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Henry Cejudo also accomplished the feat.

Holloway is one of two fighters in UFC history to win an interim, undisputed and BMF title. Justin Gaethje also accomplished the feat.
Holloway is the only fighter in UFC history to defend the BMF title.

Cory Sandhagen’s (18-6 MMA, 11-5 UFC) 28-second knockout victory at UFC Fight Night 184 marked the second-fastest flying knee finish in UFC history behind Jorge Masvidal’s five-second win at UFC 239.
Sandhagen is one of three fighters in UFC history to earn knockouts stemming from a flying knee and a spinning wheel kick. Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos and Edson Barboza also accomplished the feat.
