Seahawks fan chat: What’s the best move Seattle made this offseason?

by

We’re twiddling our thumbs and champing at the bit waiting for Seattle Seahawks football to return. After winning the Super Bowl in emphatic fashion, the Seahawks had an offseason filled with high profile free agency decisions, a busier than expected NFL Draft, some front office reshuffling, and a couple of major contract extensions.

For today’s discussion we want to know what you think is the best move the Seahawks made this offseason. We are considering the offseason window to be from the minute the Super Bowl ended to… well I guess today’s date (July 7). Charles Cross getting extended in the middle of last season does not count as an offseason move, so scrap that from your answer list.

The “best move” can also be a move they didn’t make. For example, if you think not re-signing Kenneth Walker III was the best move, that’s totally fine. Seattle’s key free agent re-signings were Josh Jobe and Rashid Shaheed, while none of K9, Riq Woolen, Cobe Bryant, or Boye Mafe remained. The draft saw the Seahawks take Jadarian Price early, Bud Clark and Julian Neal in Day 2, and Beau Stephens in Day 3. Free agent additions were sparse, with Dante Fowler Jr representing maybe their most prominent acquisition.

That’s the beauty of these discussions! The answers will be varied. Tell us what you think in the comments section!
