Conor McGregor and Max Holloway are ready to run things back.
The two welterweight headliners hit the stage Friday evening for UFC 329’s ceremonial weigh-ins in front of a packed crowd at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, just one day before McGregor — the biggest star the UFC has ever produced — is slated to compete for the first time since 2021. McGregor and Holloway, in addition to the other 26 fighters on the UFC 329 card, squared off for their final faceoffs and made their final pre-fight remarks.

Nearly 24 hours after McGregor snatched Holloway’s sunglasses and smashed them to the floor at the event’s press conference, both men engaged in a tense nose-to-nose staredown.
“It’s great to be back,” McGregor said afterward. “Thank you to all the fans here in attendance. I hope you’re all ready for a blockbuster event tomorrow night. The Mac is bringing it.”
McGregor, the former UFC two-division champion, and Holloway, a former featherweight champion, both successfully made weight Friday morning for their welterweight non-title match, which headlines Saturday’s International Fight Week card. McGregor, 37, weighed 170.5 pounds for his first fight in five years, while Holloway, 34, came in a half-pound lighter at 170, clearing the final hurdle before their anticipated five-round rematch.

McGregor previously defeated Holloway via unanimous decision in a 2013 fight that took place early in both men’s UFC careers, long before either became champion.
“I’m too ferocious, I’m too relentless,” Holloway said ahead of the rematch. “If this guy’s a missile, I’m a f***ing nuke. I’ll see you guys tomorrow night, baby.”
Co-headliners Paddy Pimblett and Benoît Saint Denis also shared a friendly final faceoff ahead of their lightweight contender clash.
A fan-favorite fighting out of Liverpool, England, Pimblett and dangerous Frenchman “BSD” both tipped the scales at 156 pounds on Friday morning. Pimblett has spoken often this week about a potential marquee tilt with McGregor next.
UFC 329: McGregor vs. Holloway 2 is set to kick off Saturday at 5 p.m. ET on Paramount+ with a 14-fight card, which also features the return of past UFC title challengers Cory Sandhagen and Brandon Royval, the 205-pound debut of former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker, the promotional debut of Olympic champion Gable Steveson, plus more.
