UFC 330 post-event facts: Islam Makhachev breaks new ground in history

The final numbered event of UFC’s summer schedule went down Saturday with UFC 330 at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, and it will be remembered as a historic night.

Islam Makhachev (29-1 MMA, 18-1 UFC) broke one of the longest-standing records in company history when he pushed out of a tie with Anderson Silva for the greatest consecutive winning streak in octagon history with a unanimous decision triumph over Ian Machado Garry (17-2 MMA, 10-2 UFC) to defend welterweight gold.

In the co-headliner, meanwhile, Mackenzie Dern (17-5 MMA, 12-5 UFC) recorded her first strawweight title defense with a unanimous decision over Gillian Robertson (17-9 MMA, 14-7 UFC).

The UFC Promotional Guidelines Compliance payout for the event totaled $327,000.

Jalin Turner, Dustin Stoltzfus, Charles Johnson and Jeremiah Wells earned $100,000 UFC 330 fight-night bonuses. Four fighters earned $25,000 finish bonuses.

Debuting fighters went 1-1 on the card.

UFC 330 drew an announced attendance of 19,238 for a live gate of $6,700,000.

Betting favorites went 7-4 on the card. One fight had even odds.

Betting favorites improved to 14-9 in UFC headliners this year. Four main events in 2026 have had even odds.

Total fight time for the 12-bout card was 2:20:44.

Islam Makhachev def. Ian Machado Garry

Makhachev became the fifth fighter in UFC history to earn title defenses in two weight classes. Daniel Cormier, Henry Cejudo, Amanda Nunes and Jon Jones also accomplished the feat.

Makhachev’s 17-fight UFC winning streak is the longest streak in company history.

Makhachev improved to 2-0 since he moved up to the UFC welterweight division in November.

Machado Garry has suffered both of his career losses by decision.

Mackenzie Dern def. Gillian Robertson

Dern’s 12 victories in UFC strawweight competition are second-most in divisional history behind Angela Hill (13).

Robertson fell to 6-2 since she dropped to the UFC strawweight division in April 2023.

Dustin Stoltzfus def. Mansur Abdul-Malik

Dustin Stoltzfus (17-8 MMA, 4-7 UFC) has earned three of his four UFC victories by stoppage.

Mansur Abdul-Malik (9-2-1 MMA, 3-2-1 UFC) has suffered consecutive losses after starting his career 9-0-1.

Abdul-Malik has suffered both of his career losses by stoppage.

Esteban Ribovics def. Edson Barboza

Ramiz Brahimaj (13-7 MMA, 5-5 UFC) has suffered both of his career stoppage losses by TKO.

Jeremiah Wells def. Myktybek Orolbai

Jeremiah Wells (14-4-1 MMA, 6-2 UFC) has earned 10 of his 14 career victories by stoppage. That includes four of his six UFC wins.

Myktybek Orolbai (16-3-1 MMA, 5-2 UFC) suffered the first stoppage loss of his career with a technical submission defeat.
