The Wisconsin Badgers football program isn’t where it once was, but there’s always room to turn things around.
Recently, UW announced a schedule change for their Week 1 showdown against Notre Dame.
There’s a chance the Notre Dame could come to Lambeau Field as the preseason No. 1-ranked team, though that’s a decision that’s still a few months out.

Regardless, Wisconsin couldn’t have asked for a tougher 2026 season opener. Their Big Ten schedule isn’t as challenging as it could’ve been, but this team is at a point where every game seems to be a toss-up, no matter who’s standing on the other side.
