Immediately after his victory, Wint begged UFC CEO Dana White for a quick turnaround, declaring that he would not leave Las Vegas without another fight contract.

Wish granted.

Wint, 30, ran through Matt Adams in just 34 seconds on Contender Series earlier this week (watch highlights), improving his undefeated professional record to 7-0. He owns an 85 percent finish rate with five knockouts and one submission.

Before transitioning to mixed martial arts, Wint played linebacker and spent time with the New York Jets. After his football career ended, he turned his attention to fighting and eventually captured the Fury FC Heavyweight championship.

Chatman (5-1) enters UFC following a first-round stoppage win over Juan Torres, whom he battered with leg kicks until the referee intervened. He owns an 80 percent finish rate with four knockouts, while his lone professional loss came via split decision against Myron Dennis.

Now, both Heavyweight newcomers will make their Octagon debuts with just nine days’ notice.
