Although fans were worried about potential delays to the 2026 season due to a labor dispute, they can rest now knowing that all their favorite professional players will soon be back on the court. April was a jam-packed month for the league, with highly anticipated expansion and college drafts, free agency, and the preseason.

The defending champion Aces should be as strong as ever after re-signing four-time MVP A’ja Wilson to a multi-year deal. The Liberty have kept their core of Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu and Jonquel Jones in the Big Apple, and Caitlin Clark is set to return to the court for Indiana after a slew of injuries that kept her sidelined much of 2025.

Five months of pure drama and intrigue lie ahead. Be sure to tune in for all the action.
