EA Sports has revealed its 10 highest-rated players in NHL 27, and Minnesota Wild defenseman Quinn Hughes made the cut.
Hughes received a 95 overall rating and was ranked as the No. 10 player in the game. He is tied at 95 overall with Colorado Avalanche superstar Cale Makar, Macklin Celebrini, David Pastrnak, Zach Werenski and Sidney Crosby.

Edmonton Oilers superstar Connor McDavid once again sits atop the ratings with a 99 overall. Nathan MacKinnon and Nikita Kucherov follow at 97, while Leon Draisaitl received a 96.
Hughes’ inclusion gives the Wild one of the game’s elite players and one of just three defensemen to crack the overall top 10, joining Makar and Werenski.
The 95 rating also puts Hughes in a tie for the second-highest-rated defenseman in NHL 27, behind only Makar.

The Wild now boasts one of NHL 27’s top-rated players at the top of their defense corps, with Hughes earning the same overall rating as some of the biggest stars in the league.
