
Minnesota Lynx guard Kayla McBride is back with Unrivaled after taking last season off.
On Tuesday, the 3-on-3 organization announced McBride re-signed on a multiyear deal. In 2025, the five-time WNBA All-Star earned first-team All-Unrivaled as a member of the Laces Basketball Club. During the league’s first year, she averaged 22.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.1 steals per matchup.

According to Unrivaled, the club McBride will play for will be determined at a later date. She joins Olivia Miles, Gabby Williams, Flau’jae Johnson, Bridget Carleton, Marine Johannés and Kayla Thornton on the list of the latest signees for 2027.
“It’s great to be back. Unrivaled brings together the best talent in the world, and I’m looking forward to competing, having fun, and helping continue to build something special,” McBride said via release.
McBride, who is in her sixth season with the Lynx, is currently averaging 14.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists per matchup. She’s also averaging a career high 1.6 steals per game.
The Pennsylvania native has played 13 seasons in the WNBA, spending time with the San Antonio Stars, who drafted her No. 3 overall in the 2014 WNBA Draft, and Las Vegas Aces before landing with Minnesota.

McBride currently ranks fifth all-time in the WNBA for 3-pointers made (764 and counting) and has also won four Euroleague championships (2019, 2023, 2024, 2026) during her time overseas.
