Miami senior transfer center Jessica Peterson signs with Auburn women’s basketball through the NCAA transfer portal, via Auburn women’s basketball socials.
Just one year in Miami, Peterson only played five games for the Hurricanes. In those appearances, she averaged 6.0 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. Peterson had stepped away from the program due to undisclosed reasons. Before joining Miami, she had played three seasons at SMU. Peterson averaged 10.3 points and 12.0 rebounds per game in 30 starts for the Mustangs.

Her freshman season, Peterson was apart of the Fresno State team. She appeared in 22 games with one start and recorded an average 2.4 points and 2.7 rebounds. Now the 6-foot-2 senior joins the Tigers’ list of transfer portal additions. Five players have now been brought in through the NCAA transfer portal with the additions of Phoenix Stotijn, Zahara Bishop, Savannah Scott, Danielle Osho and now Peterson.
