John Hunter Nemechek had a good day going at Texas Motor Speedway, but it went south quickly. With two laps to go, Kyle Busch put Nemechek into the wall off Turn 2. Then, Busch’s No. 8 car went up the track in Turn 3, wrecking the No. 42 car. The Legacy Motor Club driver finished in 21st place with a wrecked race car.
Following the race, Nemechek didn’t hold back his thoughts on the incident with Busch. In his eyes, this was squarely on the shoulders of the Richard Childress Racing driver.
“Not freaking clear,” Nemechek posted on X. Great day going and just got wrecked. What an [expletive].”

Needless to say, Nemechek certainly isn’t happy with Busch after the wreck at Texas. The driver of the No. 8 car posted in-car data on social media following the race and doesn’t believe he was in the wrong. Either way, it will be fascinating to see how Busch and Nemechek race each other moving forward during the 2026 NASCAR season.
