UConn women’s basketball has earned a new commitment from the international ranks, as Marine Dursus announced her commitment to the Huskies on Friday morning. The 5-foot-9 shooting guard averaged 13.8 PPG and 4.2 RPG in the 2025 U20 Eurobasket. Her French team won the 2024 U20 Eurobasket as Dursus dropped 17 points in the final and was named to the all-tournament team.
Dursus currently plays in the top French women’s pro division, averaging 9.9 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists for Angers Basket. She is expected to join the Huskies this fall. UConn head coach Geno Auriemma elected to not make any additions to the roster via transfer this offseason, so this will have to do for experienced players, as Dursus is 20 years old.

The Huskies will also be welcoming freshmen Olivia Vukosa, a 6-foot-4 blue-chip recruit who was considered the best big in the class, and Jovana Popovic, a guard from Serbia, to the team this summer.
