Connecticut beat Seattle with a balanced offensive attack, as five different players scored at least 10 points in an 80-78 victory. Kennedy Burke scored 15 points off the bench, and her layup with 2.8 seconds left gave the Sun their first win of the 2026 season.

Olivia Nelson-Ododa (ankle) will not be available to play in Friday’s contest, but Brittney Griner (rib) could rejoin the starting lineup. She is listed as questionable on Connecticut’s official injury report.
