The Wisconsin Badgers are a strong contender to flip Texas Tech EDGE Brody Pfannenstiel.
Pfannenstiel, who visited with the Badgers on June 8, took the time to discuss his visit with Rivals’ Greg Smith.

Even though he committed to the Red Raiders on March 13, the 6-foot-4, 225-pound Kansas native isn’t completely sold on the idea of playing for Texas Tech in 2027.
“It went great,” Pfannenstiel told Smith (subscription required). “The coaches and everyone there treated us like family and showed the vision they have for me.”
When looking at the Badgers’ depth at the Sam/Hybrid position, Wisconsin firmly believes Pfannenstiel could see the field early in his career, which, to no surprise, was a huge selling point.
That said, Pfannenstiel is set to go on his official visit with Texas Tech this weekend. It’s not out of the ordinary to think Wisconsin could flip him as they did with Florida State cornerback Mekhi Williams, but at the end of the day, there’s no point in Badgers fans getting too excited.
