The Indiana Fever are looking to start a winning streak.

The team was thought to be a championship contender coming into the season but has gone 2-3 over its last five games and had to rely on a Caitlin Clark 3 with 2.5 seconds remaining against the Washington Mystics on June 8.

The Fever (6-5) have one winning streak this season, taking three straight from May 17-22. But, Indiana has defeated their next opponent, the Chicago Sky, in seven straight matchups.

“This is a hard league to play in. You take a win any way you can get it,” Clark said after win over the Mystics. “It’s a win for us. … We’re happy about that, but also you go back and take a look at everything and find a way to improve.”

Chicago has struggled since losing Rickea Jackson to a season-ending knee injury. She was averaging a team-high 18 points before going down in the fourth game of the season. The Sky (4-8) have lost seven of eight.
