Alex Golesh and the Auburn Tigers are building their 2027 recruiting class through the trenches, and they landed a major piece on Sunday. Four-star defensive lineman Nate Kamba committed to Auburn following an official visit, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Kamba picked Auburn over the South Carolina Gamecocks and also took official visits to see the Georgia Bulldogs, Ohio State Buckeyes, Louisville Cardinals, and NC State Wolfpack. The Charlotte, North Carolina, product has been an Auburn target since October of 2025, when they extended him a scholarship offer.

He is ranked as the No. 237 overall player and No. 27 defensive lineman in the Rivals industry ranking. He is also the No. 10 player from North Carolina.

Kamba has had a productive career at Corvian Community High School. He was limited to just seven games as a junior, but managed to record 28 tackles, 16.0 tackles for loss, and 3.0 sacks. He had a breakout sophomore season, finishing with 79 tackles, 26.0 tackles for loss, and 8.0 sacks in 16 games.

He is Auburn’s 18th commitment overall and the seventh who will play along the offensive or defensive line. He is their third addition along the defensive line, joining four-star defensive line Donivan Moore and four-star edge Rion Jackson.

Auburn’s 2027 recruiting class is now ranked as the 10th-best in the country and the 4th-best in the SEC by Rivals. They have 11 four-star prospects committed, with four top-100 commits headlining Golesh’s inaugural recruiting class on the Plains.
