After three stellar performances for Indiana last week, Hawkeye legend and Fever superstar guard Caitlin Clark has been named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week for Week 5 of the 2026 WNBA season.
Over the Fever’s three games last week, Clark scored a combined 76 points, the most of any player in the Eastern Conference and the second-most points scored in the WNBA over the span. Additionally, she totaled 20 assists and 13 rebounds.
During Indiana’s 114-106 overtime win against the Chicago Sky on June 11, Clark recorded her 22nd career double-double, scoring 32 points while adding 10 assists, which tied her with Fever legend Tamika Catchings for the most 30-point double-doubles in franchise history with three such occurrences.

In Indiana’s 85-75 win at Connecticut on June 13, Clark recorded her 10th career game with at least 25 points, five three-pointers made and five assists, the second-most such games in WNBA history. Clark now trails only Diana Taurasi in that distinction.
It’s the fourth WNBA Player of the Week award in Clark’s career and her first this season. With her selection, Clark joins Tamika Catchings (11), Katie Douglas (4), and Kesley Mitchell (4) as the only Fever players to win four or more Player of the Week awards.
Clark had another strong performance on Tuesday night, registering a double-double with 21 points and 14 assists in Indiana’s 113-91 win over the Toronto Tempo.
