Khasan Magomedsharipov returned Saturday after two years away from action, but he didn’t skip a beat.
On the PFL San Diego prelims, Magomedsharipov (11-0) made quick work of UFC alum Joshua Weems (14-7) with an arm-triangle choke submission at 2:10 of Round 1. The featherweight bout took place at Pechanga Arena San Diego.

Magomedsharipov, the younger brother of former UFC contender Zabit Magomedsharipov, quickly dragged the fight to the ground. He was cut open, but worked through the blood and eventually locked in the fight-ending choke.
