Former Ohio State and current Indiana Fever guard Kelsey Mitchell has been named to another WNBA All-Star team, and one of the starters at that. It’ll be Mitchell’s fourth-straight All-Star selection, and it is well-deserved. So far this season, Mitchell is the second-leading scorer in the League, averaging a career-high 21.6 points per contest, and is a bona fide star.
Mitchell, who is in her ninth season in the WNBA, will be joining Fever teammates Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston as starters, meaning there should be plenty of familiarity when the game tips off on July 25 at 8:30 p.m. ET in Chicago.

The Cincinnati Princeton product played for the Buckeyes from 2014 to 2018 and finished her career as the all-time leading scorer, a record she still holds with 3,402 points. She was a four-time All-American and three-time Big Ten Player of the Year.
It’s remarkable that Mitchell isn’t discussed more. She’s a great ambassador for the women’s game and a great representation of Ohio State, and we couldn’t be more excited about how her career has really blossomed at the highest level.
