Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Welterweight champion, Islam Makhachev, will defend his title for the first time against No. 1-ranked Irish contender, Ian Garry, in UFC 330’s main event on Sat., Aug. 15, 2026, inside Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In the co-main event, women’s Strawweight champion Mackenzie Dern will also defend her title for the first time against Canada’s grappling ace, Gillian Robertson.

Today, the promotion released UFC 330’s official marketing poster on social media.

It feels like a missed opportunity for the promotion to not lead with a Russia vs. Ireland theme … oh well.
Makhachev (28-1) is currently tied with Anderson Silva for the longest win streak in UFC history at 16. He is coming off a one-sided domination of Jack Della Maddalena to win the Welterweight title and become a two-division UFC champion.
Garry (17-1), meanwhile, has earned his shot after back-to-back wins over red-hot Brazilian knockout artist Carlos Prates and former Welterweight champion Belal Muhammad.
