The Washington Huskies women’s basketball program has added longtime assistant Patrick Bowlin to Tina Langley’s coaching staff ahead of the 2026-27 college basketball season.
Bowlin, a Minnesota native who most recently served as an assistant at the University of Green Bay women’s hoops program, has previously spent time at Idaho State after being a high school head coach at two different schools, is the second addition to Langley’s staff this offseason following Tasha Brown joining the Huskies’ program in June.

“We are so excited to welcome Patrick to the University of Washington,” Langley said in a press release.
“Patrick brings an exceptional work ethic, a sharp basketball mind, and a genuine passion for helping student-athletes grow. His impact has been significant at every program he has served because of his unwavering commitment to excellence, both personally and professionally. Patrick is an outstanding teacher with a unique ability to connect with players and inspire them to reach their best on and off the court. I’m excited for our young women to learn from him and benefit from his leadership.”
At both Green Bay and Idaho State, the newest coaching addition led the Phoenix and Bengals to either an NCAA Tournament appearance or a conference championship, proving to be a worthy addition for Langley as she aims to lead the Huskies to a third straight berth in the big dance.

“I’m incredibly grateful to Coach Langley and the University of Washington for this opportunity,” Bowlin said in a statement after being hired.
“I’m excited to be part of a program that places such a strong emphasis on culture, relationships, and helping student-athletes reach their full potential. Coach Langley is one of the best teachers in our game, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to learn from her while continuing to grow alongside an outstanding, hard-working, and collaborative staff. I can’t wait to work with our student-athletes and help them grow on and off the court.”
An alum of St. John’s, Bowlin coached at Rogers High School and Totino-Grace High School in Minnesota before he returned to Green Bay, first as director of basketball operations from 2021-23 and then as an assistant coach in ’23-24, for his first of three stints with the Horizon League program.
