Paris Basketball has added veteran NBA forward TJ Warren for the 2026-27 season, the club announced on Monday. The 32-year-old arrives after spending the past two seasons with the Westchester Knicks in the NBA G League, becoming one of the most experienced former NBA players to join the French club ahead of its third EuroLeague campaign.

Paris described Warren as a player with “11 seasons and 385 NBA games under his belt,” marking the next chapter in a professional career that has included stops with the Phoenix Suns, Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets, Minnesota Timberwolves, and multiple G League assignments.

Warren appeared in 385 NBA games, including 236 starts, averaging 14.3 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 1.2 assists in 26.9 minutes per game while shooting an efficient 50.5% from the field. His best NBA season came with Indiana in 2019-20, when he averaged 19.8 points on 53.6% shooting and 40.3% from three-point range across 67 starts, establishing himself as one of the league’s most efficient scoring forwards.

Injuries slowed the second half of Warren’s NBA career. He played only four games during the 2020-21 season before missing all of 2021-22. He returned in 2022-23 with Brooklyn and Phoenix, averaging 7.5 points across 42 appearances, before making 11 appearances for Minnesota during the 2023-24 campaign.

Since then, Warren has rebuilt his career in the G League with the Westchester Knicks, earning All-NBA G League Third Team honors in 2025. Paris will now hope that scoring ability translates to European basketball as the club continues reshaping its roster.

The move comes after Paris finished 16th in its first EuroLeague season with a 15-23 record. The club missed both the playoffs and play-in after closing the regular season with a 5-5 record over its final 10 games.

Offensively, Paris relied heavily on Nadir Hifi, who averaged a team-high 18.9 points and 3.8 assists in 37 EuroLeague games. Justin Robinson added 14.6 points and 4.5 assists before departing to Barcelona this offseason, leaving a significant scoring and playmaking void. Jared Rhoden also contributed 11.1 points, while Lamar Stevens averaged 9.3 points.

Warren’s arrival addresses part of that offensive production. Throughout his NBA career, he developed a reputation as an efficient mid-range scorer capable of producing without dominating possessions. His career 50.5% field-goal percentage reflects that efficiency, and his ability to play either forward spot could provide Paris with additional lineup flexibility.

Paris has also made other offseason changes, adding Terry Tarpey and Maozinha Pereira while losing head coach Julius Thomas, Robinson, and veteran forward Derek Willis. Warren becomes the highest-profile addition of the summer and brings significantly more NBA experience than anyone currently on the roster.
