The last time the New York Liberty and Dallas Wings squared off, Wings do-it-all forward Jessica Shepard stitched together her third triple-double of the 2026 campaign, two-time WNBA MVP Breanna Stewart piled up 29 points for the Liberty and backcourt standouts Paige Bueckers and Sabrina Ionescu once again went head-to-head, with Bueckers’ Wings emerging victorious on July 7 in Brooklyn.
The teams’ next meeting will have to wait. Their Thursday night game was postponed the morning ahead of a scheduled 9 p.m. ET tip-off at College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.

The WNBA released a statement, explaining that mechanical issues with the Liberty’s charter flight caused travel delays, leading the W to ultimately reschedule the matchup for Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
The Wings will honor all tickets purchased for the initial game date, according the W’s statement.
