Welcome to the UFC, RJ Harris.
At UFC Fight Night 281, Harris (6-0 MMA, 1-0 UFC) made an impactful promotional debut as he quickly finished Alvin Hines (7-2 MMA, 0-2 UFC) with a series of punches at the 1:40 mark of Round 1. The event took place Saturday at Paycom Center in Oklahoma City.

Harris connected on a right uppercut as Hines dipped his head. The impact sent Hines completely off his feet and crashing to the canvas. Harris pounded away until referee Nick Berens stepped in.
Harris, 27, was emotional on the microphone after the victory, saying he and his wife are expecting their first child soon. He maintains his undefeated record and makes it five finishes in six fights.
Hines, 34, comes up short again in his second UFC attempt. He debuted in June 2025 and put forth a fun performance in unanimous decision defeat to Jhonata Diniz. However, Hines tested positive for a banned substance after the bout and was suspended one year by the UFC.
