LeBron James had a humorous response after former teammate Patrick Beverley claimed a decision on his NBA future was coming soon.
After Beverley posted on X, “Rumor has it Bron makes his decision today!!!”, James shared an Instagram story featuring comedian Kevin Hart repeatedly saying, “shut the f— up.”
He also added the caption, “BINGO STFU,” which many viewed as a playful response to the rumor.
James and Beverley were briefly teammates with the Lakers during the 2022-23 season, and Beverley has since retired to host “The Pat Bev Show.”
The post comes as speculation about James’ next destination continues to grow. However, the future Hall of Famer has remained tight-lipped throughout free agency.
At Fanatics Fest, Indiana Pacers guard Tyrese Haliburton tried to ask James about his plans during a live episode of “Mind the Game.”
“Didn’t we already talk about this in the back,” James replied.
Haliburton quickly dropped the topic, reinforcing the belief that James will announce his decision only when he is ready, despite growing pressure from the NBA and constant speculation surrounding his future.
