The 6-foot-3, 165-pound prospect is from Clinton Grace Christian High School in Clinton, Maryland. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 13 point guard in the class and No. 1 player in Maryland.

Tennessee offered Lyons a scholarship on May 28. He has not visited the Vols.

Morehead State was the first school to offer Lyons a scholarship. Other schools to offer him scholarships include George Mason, Texas A&M, Florida State, Seton Hall, Oklahoma State, Providence, Virginia Tech, Mississippi State, Indiana, Villanova, George Washington, Alabama, Missouri, Pittsburgh, Boston College and Cincinnati.

Tennessee does not have a commitment in its 2027 basketball recruiting class. The Vols have four commitments in their 2026 basketball recruiting class: small forward Ralph Scott, power forward Manny Green, point guard Marquis Clark and power forward Chris Washington Jr.
