As Minnesota Lynx star Kayla McBride had a nuclear game in the 103-90 win over the Dallas Wings, she achieved history by making 10 three-point shots in a game, the most by any WNBA player ever. While the Lynx star’s accomplishment has led to excited reactions around the WNBA world, head coach Cheryl Reeve would give her thoughts on McBride’s impeccable performance.

McBride totaled a whopping 43 points on 16 of 21 shooting from the field, including 10 of 14 from deep, which led to Reeve proclaiming that the 34-year-0ld is an “All-WNBA player.” The coach would even say how it was “disgraceful” that McBride wasn’t an All-Star this season.

“She’s just a pro’s pro. When you show up the next day and you kind of go, ‘Okay, got a good win yesterday, obviously we know on Thursday, quick turnaround, etc.’ And Mac knows like ‘Can’t make excuses, you got to show up for your team,’ and so I think the incredible thing about Mac is, well, first of all, she’s an All-WNBA player,” Reeve said, via Will Hall.

“It’s disgraceful she was not an All-Star, All-WNBA player, who chased Paige around while dropping 43, and so she just knows that’s her job. She embraces it, loves it,” Reeve continued. “Obviously her starting to find the bottom really helped us get separation and kind of gave us a bit of a lift at a time when we were kind of really clunky in that first half.”
