With Progressive being a sponsor of the 13 schools, the brand’s presence will be complemented by in-game video-board features, in-venue LED signage, digital and social media integrations, and other game-day experiences designed to engage fans before, during, and after the game. Progressive’s branding will debut at the start of this year’s college football season.
“College athletics offers brands a level of fan passion and loyalty that’s hard to match,” Shawn Hegan, Executive Vice President of Global Partnerships at Learfield, said. “This program gives Progressive a consistent presence across some of the biggest stages in the sport while creating meaningful connections with fans throughout the season.”
One of the teams, Georgia, is excited to be partnering with Progressive. “We are proud to be a part of Progressive’s impactful investment in college athletics,” Georgia athletic director Josh Brooks said. “As we look for additional revenue streams while maintaining our strong positioning on a national level, this relationship assists in providing the necessary resources for our student-athletes. We are thrilled that Progressive is joining the many outstanding game day traditions at Sanford Stadium.”
