It was only Dana White’s Contender Series, but the Meta APEX may have been filled with more electricity than ever during Tuesday’s episode.
The DWCS 88 main event featured an impromptu rivalry between Brazil’s Kaik Brito and Kurdistan’s Namo Fazil, two UFC welterweight hopefuls.

The trash talk came to an end in a raucous Meta APEX as Brito (20-6) utilized his unusual counterpunch-heavy style to pick apart of an aggressive Fazil (10-2) and score a massive knockout via overhand right at 0:12 of Round 3.
Brito, 29, vacated the OKTAGON title in pursuit of the UFC. The victory Saturday extended his winning streak to three.
Fazil, 29, rose to international notoriety as the biggest breakthrough benecifiary of the Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano card in May on Netflix. The loss snapped an eight-fight winning streak.
