When many fans think of the Indiana Fever, two of the first names that probably pop into their heads are Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell.
Clark is one of the most popular names in the sport and has helped attract a lot of new fans, while Mitchell is in the midst of an impressive campaign that just this week saw her set a WNBA record after she scored 20+ PTS for the 21st game in a row.

But the Fever lost to the Dallas Wings when Kelsey set that record, and there has since been some discourse online about coach Stephanie White putting too much focus on Mitchell’s record to the detriment of other players, including Clark.
One fan, for example, took to social media after the defeat on Thursday to write: “Steph White ran no actions for Caitlin Clark everything was ran through and for Kelsey Mitchell tonight she succeeded at getting Caitlin Clark out of the MVP race.”
Kelsey Mitchell is the Indiana Fever’s highest-paid player
The debate over who is the better player between Clark and Mitchell is not expected to go away anytime soon.

But right now, the latter is taking home a lot more money from her Fever contract.
So, with many talking about Clark and Mitchell post-Wings defeat, we have taken a look at how much the duo are earning.
According to Spotrac, Mitchell is the Fever’s highest-paid player, with a base salary of $1.4m for 2026.
Clark, on the other hand, is earning $871,154 less this year, with a base salary of $528,846.
That ranks her, despite being one of the most popular players in the WNBA, as the sixth-highest-paid Fever star this year.
Aliyah Boston is second, with a yearly base salary of $1m, followed by Monique Billings ($800,000), Lexie Hull ($765,000), Sophie Cunningham ($665,000), and then Clark.
