Angel Reese had arguably her most impressive WNBA performance against the Los Angeles Sparks. She broke multiple records on the night, and they’re related to efficiency, too.
Angel Reese has had to deal with WNBA fans sometimes questioning whether she is a superstar on the court. The biggest knock against her game has to do with her poor efficiency.

The Atlanta Dream star regularly goes viral on social media for clips where she’s missing layups and having trouble scoring efficiently. However, even her haters acknowledge that if she fixed that, it would change everything.
Reese took a huge step towards silencing those doubts during Atlanta’s Thursday night win against the Los Angeles Sparks. And in the process, she also made history.

Angel Reese records most efficient 20-point, 10-rebound game ever
The 24-year-old ended the game with 20 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists to her name. Two assists shy of what would have been a legendary triple-double.

However, in getting her usual double-double, Reese managed something which no player in the league’s history ever has before.
Angel attempted nine field goals during the game, but made all nine. These included two three-pointers, both of which she obviously made. This means Reese did not miss a single shot all night.
With an unbelievable true shooting percentage of 111 percent, this means she just had the most efficient 20-point, 10-rebound game ever recorded in the W.
Angel Reese’s first half numbers have never been achieved by any WNBA player
During the game, Reese did most of the damage in the first half. The Dream went up by 22 points after the first quarter alone, and it was a blowout.

In the process, the young forward’s 18 points on 100 percent efficiency, combined with five boards and five assists led to her creating another piece of history.
It seems that no amount of superlatives can do justice to the performance that she just delivered. After having dealt with a lot of criticism, this will feel quite good for Reese.
Poor efficiency is the only thing holding the 24-year-old back. If games like this become routine for Angel, then the rest of the WNBA will have to be worried.
